02 How it works

Set up your tree in 4 steps, without tools.

Every START and SELECT model works the same way. It takes one person and less than 5 minutes.

  1. Open stand seen from above, hooks spread apart

    01Open the stand

    Slide the lock to the green field and lift the lever with your foot. The hooks open and make room for the trunk.

  2. Trunk placed on the spike

    02Put the tree in

    Stand the trunk on the steel spike in the centre. The spike holds the tree while you get it straight.

  3. Hooks clamped on the trunk

    03Press the lever

    3–4 presses with your foot tension the cable. The hooks grip the trunk from all sides at once.

  4. Lever lock

    04Lock it

    Slide the lock to the red field with the padlock. The stand cannot open by accident.

Want to take the tree out? Release the lock and lift the lever. The hooks let go of the trunk.

03 Water for your tree

The float shows when to top up.

The water reservoir holds 2 to 6.3 l, depending on the model. No need to bend down and check with your finger whether there is any water left.

  1. Stand the tree in place and pour water into the opening around the trunk.

  2. The float rises with the water. When you can see the red part, there is enough water. Stop pouring, or it will overflow.

  3. The tree drinks all the time. When the float drops, top up the water.

A freshly cut tree needs water every day. Without it, the needles dry out and drop sooner.

KAMAI stand hooks clamped on a Christmas tree trunk

  1. One cable, all the hooks.

    A steel cable clamps the hooks at the same time. A crooked or uneven trunk stands upright too.

  2. A stable base.

    A weighted body and a steel spike hold a fully decorated tree. Models up to 4.5 m work well in churches and lobbies.

  3. Lever lock.

    The stand will not open when the cat brushes against the tree or a child touches the lever.

  4. Steel where the force goes.

    The cable, springs, gears and lock are steel. Polypropylene housing, ABS hooks.

  5. Built for many seasons.

    After Christmas, pour out the water, dry the stand and put it back in its box. 5-year warranty.

  6. Five sizes, three colours.

    For trees from 2 m to 4.5 m, in green and anthracite, and START also in the black PRO NATURE version.

Frequently asked questions about KAMAI stands.

Which stand should I choose for my tree?

Choose by the height of the tree: up to 2 m START 2.0, up to 2.5 m START 2.5, up to 3 m START 3.0, up to 3.5 m SELECT 3.5, up to 4.5 m SELECT 4.5. Also check the trunk diameter in the model table.

Do I need to trim or cut the trunk?

You do not need to trim it to fit as you would with a screw-type stand. Before putting the tree in, it is worth cutting the bottom of the trunk straight, as the manual recommends.

Will the stand hold a crooked or thick trunk?

Yes. The hooks clamp from every side at the same time, so the tree stands straight even with an uneven trunk. For trunks thicker than 14 cm, choose SELECT 4.5 (5–17 cm).

How much water does the reservoir hold and how do I know when to top up?

From 2 l (START 2.0) to 6.3 l (SELECT 4.5). The float drops as the water goes down. SELECT also has an LED indicator.

Is the stand safe with children or pets at home?

The lever lock prevents accidental opening and the weighted base stops it tipping over. The manual says the stand should be operated by adults.

How long does setup take?

Less than 5 minutes. It takes one person and you do not need any tools.

Where can I buy a KAMAI stand?

How do I store the stand after Christmas?

Pour out the water, dry the stand and keep it somewhere dry, ideally in its box. You can lightly oil the metal parts.

What is the warranty and how do I make a claim?

Every stand comes with a 5-year warranty. To make a claim, call +48 12 307 28 21 or write to biuro@kamai.pl. Have the model, colour and a description of the problem ready.

Can the stand be used outdoors?

The housing withstands frost and damp, but the manual describes indoor use. Ask us before you put a tree outside.
