See how to set up a tree in the START 2.5
Every START and SELECT model works the same way. It takes one person and less than 5 minutes.

01Open the stand
Slide the lock to the green field and lift the lever with your foot. The hooks open and make room for the trunk.

02Put the tree in
Stand the trunk on the steel spike in the centre. The spike holds the tree while you get it straight.

03Press the lever
3–4 presses with your foot tension the cable. The hooks grip the trunk from all sides at once.

04Lock it
Slide the lock to the red field with the padlock. The stand cannot open by accident.
Want to take the tree out? Release the lock and lift the lever. The hooks let go of the trunk.
Why START 2.5
START 2.5 is a stand for trees up to 2.5 m with a trunk of 3 to 12 cm. You clamp the hooks with your foot, with no screws and no trimming the trunk. The steel spike holds the tree in the centre while you get it straight.
The 2.5 l water reservoir and the float tell you when to top up. The lever lock stops the mechanism opening by accident.
Available in green, anthracite and PRO NATURE.

Questions about the START 2.5
Do I need to trim the trunk?
No. The hooks clamp onto the trunk by themselves within the 3–12 cm range. Before putting the tree in, it is worth cutting the bottom of the trunk straight.
How often should I top up the water?
When the float drops. A fresh tree drinks the most in the first few days, so check the indicator more often then.
How do I store the stand after the season?
Pour out the water, dry the stand and keep it somewhere dry, ideally in its box.
My tree is 2.4 m with a thick trunk. Which model?
START 2.5 holds trunks up to 12 cm. For a thicker trunk, choose START 3.0 (up to 13 cm) or SELECT 3.5 (up to 14 cm).
What is the difference between green and anthracite?
Only the colour of the housing and the stars. The specifications and mechanism are the same.
